Feasibility study BUGA Wuppertal

The world-famous suspension railway and the zoo have so far been the tourist highlights of Wuppertal. The Bundesgartenschau 2031 is intended to permanently add two further attractions to these: a cable car across the zoo to the Königshöhe and a spectacular hanging rope bridge over the Wupperpforte.

As part of the feasibility study for the event, Montenius Consult provided the visitor forecast and worked out a concept for the long-term operation of the planned cable car and bridge. Christoph Schrahe also wrote the texts for the 130-page brochure, which formed the basis for the successful bid to host the event.
